The ‘Isolation Blues’ was created during the first lockdown period and started as an experiment. Typical “Tercel elements” are combined with genre influences that were previously unusual for the band’s sound. The solo sections pay homage to Frank Zappa and Robert Fripp.

Catching the animal alive

The first live document of the band Tercel.
‘Tercel’ originally started as a studio project by Karl Philipp Falk. Over time, two friends joined and the band took off. The songs have evolved since the recording of the studio albums and this development has been documented on this live album. This is not a perfect recording, here and there a few quirks and a few mistakes can be heard. Nonetheless, we think that the energy of this performance was well captured!

After the ‘Vortex’ demo and the re-recorded single ‘Petrichor’ the first proper Tercel album ‘Chapter 2: Would You Kindly’ is released. It mixes a wide variety of moods and musical styles. The result is energetic and atmospheric music that doesn’t shy away from thinking outside the box.
